9-10:30PM
TV LAND AWARDS: CELEBRATION OF CLASSIC TV (TV Land) Oscar's got nothing on TV Land's kooky party, which has somehow become the blowout of the year for Hollywood's Geritol set.
Cedric the Entertainer -- who'll preview a clip of his role as Ralph Kramden in this summer's "The Honeymooners" -- plays cryptkee ... er, host as Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett, Aaron Spelling and "Soul Train" are honored. (Sadly, The Regal Beagle has to compete for the title of Most Happenin' Greasy Spoon or Hangout!)
Yo, Cedric, which golden oldies still make you smile? "I love 'Get Smart,' 'The Golden Girls' ... you know, I don't watch much TV. But when I do, it's usually reruns of 'The West Wing.' "
How nouveau. -- Nicholas Fonseca
Best of the rest
8-9PM
AMERICAN'S NEXT TOP MODEL (UPN) Let's wish all the pretty mannequins luck as they compete to be America's Next UPN Sitcom Guest Star.
8-9PM
SURVIVOR: PALAU (CBS) This is your first and only warning: Due to CBS' extensive coverage of the NCAA tournament, they're moving Jeff Probst and Co. back one night. Be prepared.
9-9:30PM
AMERICAN IDOL (Fox, TV-G) OK, I'll 'fess up: I haven't watched the past few weeks. I like only the awful singers in the beginning and the good ones in the end. Which makes me trashy and stuck-up.
10:30-11PM
CHAPPELLE'S SHOW (Comedy Central) Viewers chose tonight's rerun as their favorite episode of all time. Somewhat obvious Spoiler Alert: Tonight's show just may involve a certain Rick James sketch with Charlie Murphy that got an entire nation to imitate Dave impersonating the late superfreak.
10:02-11PM
WIFE SWAP (ABC, TV-PG) The Cedarquists (and their six kids) take their name way too literally by living in a tree house. If the lack of electricity doesn't get you, wondering where the toilets are will.
