Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up again for a new project
They will develop "Incorporated," a futuristic thriller for Syfy
The pair are best known for their Oscar-winning collaboration on "Good Will Hunting"
It’s a busy time for best buds and business partners Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
Syfy announced Monday its partnership with Pearl Street Films, a production company owned by Affleck and Damon, and CBS Television Studios to develop “Incorporated.”
Dubbed by the network a futuristic espionage thriller, “Incorporated” will follow the journey of a man attempting to beat a corrupt world in which corporations have “unlimited power.”
The “Good Will Hunting” duet will executive produce the show along with Pearl Street Films president Jennifer Todd, and other key players of their television production company. Also joining the team of industry bigwigs as executive producer is Ted Humphrey, popular for his work on the leading CBS series “The Good Wife”.
If Affleck’s most recent work is any indication of future successes, then Syfy will surely be getting a run for its money: Just a week and a half after being released into theaters, Affleck’s newest film “Gone Girl” still ranks No. 1 at the box office, grossing an estimated $78.3 million total.
