Peggy Lee has more heart troubleSANTA MONICA, California (CNN) -- Peggy Lee is expected to return home from the hospital soon to recover from an irregular heartbeat. She was hospitalized a few days ago, daughter Nicki Lee Foster says. The 78-year-old singer is known for her smoky renditions of the songs "Is That All There Is?" and "Fever." A diabetic, Lee has a history of health problems. She is still recovering from a stroke last year. In 1976, she had a dangerous fall in a New York hotel. She was seriously injured in another fall in Las Vegas in 1987. And in 1985, she had four angioplasties -- balloon surgeries to open clogged arteries -- and double-bypass heart surgery.
Hunt, Azaria say 'I do'LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Oscar-winning actress Helen Hunt tied the knot with Hank Azaria at a small, private ceremony over the weekend in their Los Angeles home, her publicist revealed. Azaria played Hunt's dog-sitter for several seasons on the hit NBC sitcom "Mad About You." The honeymoon will have to wait, though. They've postponed it, possibly until October, so they can fulfill previous acting commitments, says publicist Stephen Huvane. Hunt stars opposite Tom Hanks in the upcoming movie "Cast Away," which will be shot in September, Huvane says; during a break in production for that movie, she plans to shoot another, he added. Azaria begins rehearsals this week for a film adaptation of the bestseller "Tuesdays with Morrie," co-starring Jack Lemmon, Huvane says. Hunt enjoyed a banner year last year, winning an Academy Award for best actress in her role in "As Good As It Gets." She played the waitress who falls for an obsessive-compulsive writer (Jack Nicholson). Then in September, she won her third consecutive Emmy for best actress in the now-defunct "Mad About You."
Ex-Mousekeeter sent to slammerLOS ANGELES (CNN) -- A former Mouseketeer is going to federal prison. Darlene Fraschilla (formerly Darlene Gillespie) asked a judge to delay her two-year sentence while she appeals her conviction for using bad checks to make investments. He denied the motion without explanation. She was convicted of helping her then-boyfriend, Jerry Fraschilla, try to buy $827,000 in stock in 1992 and 1993 by writing checks on closed and overdrawn accounts. Jerry Fraschilla, 61, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Darlene Fraschilla, 57, was one of the nine original Mouseketeers on the Mickey Mouse Club show from 1955-59.
Rare 'Phantom Menace' poster goes on auction blockLONDON (CNN) -- You have until Friday to put in a bid for the only signed poster of "Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace." It's being sold by the British online auction house QXL. Organizers expect it to go for 50,000 pounds (U.S. $78,600). Liam Neeson, who plays Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in the movie, donated the poster. Proceeds will benefit an English school for children with special needs. Neeson's nephew, who has Down's syndrome, attends the school. The poster includes signatures from Neeson, producer-director George Lucas, Samuel L. Jackson (Jedi Master Mace Windu), Natalie Portman (Queen Amidala/Padmé Naberrie), Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker), and Ahmed Best (voice of Jar Jar Binks). Cinemas are required to return all other copies of promotional posters to Lucasfilm Ltd., to be destroyed. "Star Wars" fans can place their bids at www.qxl.com.
Tori Spelling dreams of 'fairy tale' loveLOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Actress Tori Spelling says she no longer cares if she has a boyfriend, because she's so unlucky in love. "I date once in a while, but it just never clicks," she tells US magazine in their August issue. "I just don't like anybody. I'm really, really picky. And then when I pick them, I usually pick the wrong ones. They're the worst ones I could pick. I ask myself, 'What was I so picky about?'" The magazine reports Spelling says she's also too busy for love. She's got her "Beverly Hills 90210" show to tape; her weekly dinner date with her TV producer dad, Aaron Spelling; auditions; and promotions for her new movie "Trick," a gay-themed romantic comedy. She says she hasn't given up on men, though. "I still love men," Spelling says. "I still believe in the fairy tale you have when you're a kid. I still believe in ultimate happiness." The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.
