Tributes and Information

Ken was a Promethean to the end, and his courage provides hope and a beacon of light during these darker days of despair. He knew the risks and went back in.

Adam Pacio, fraternity brother

Ken was a wonderful person. He always had a smile and a kind word, and was always willing to help you in any way. I worked with him at Digital Equipment, and we always spent time at the DEC reunions catching up on what was going on in our lives. I would see him from time to time walking the WFC promonade and when he spotted me, there would be that big smile of his. Writing this brings back those memories, and tears are rolling. God bless you, Ken.

Tom Forero, friend

I got lucky on the 11th. My blood relatives all survived. Though I never actually met Ken, he was still my brother. My heart aches for his own family's loss and for our fraternal family's loss.

Jason Giles, fraternity brother

Ken, we all miss you. The world is a little less special since you are no longer with us. We will always remember you, and you will always be in our hearts.

Alfonso Cubas, brother

Long ago our paths diverged, but I never forgot my old school friend. I look forward to seeing you in the future in heaven. Rest well, old friend. God bless.

Richard Jorgensen, junior high and high school friend

Ken and I were fraternity brothers in the Order of Prometheus at Potsdam State. He died trying to save others. His actions speak loudly to the ideals of his fraternity and the person he was. He pledged to serve his fellow man.

John J. Dixon, fraternity big brother
