BERNARD SHAW, CNN ANCHOR: I'm Bernard Shaw in Washington. A military F-16 jet has crashed off the Atlantic City, New Jersey coast. The plane has gone into the ocean. This is affiliate picture from WPBI. According to the Associated Press, the military jet belonged to the New Jersey Air National Guard. The pilot reported engine trouble. He was rescued reportedly by the New Jersey State Police. The jet fighter was on a routine training flight with three other aircraft. Repeating briefly, an F-16 jet belonging to the New Jersey Air National Guard has crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Atlantic City, New Jersey. The pilot has been rescued and taken to the hospital.
