LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We have breaking news just coming into the CNN center. CNN has just been able to confirm that a private jet has crashed near Aspen, Colorado. We understand that the site is somewhere about 160 miles from Denver. A Gulfstream jet with 18 people on board, according to the jet's manifest crashed around 7:00 p.m. local time near Highway 82. We understand, according to the Associated Press, that 17 bodies have been recovered from this site, and as we said, the manifest listed 18 people on board that plane. We will continue to track that story and bring you the developments as they come into the CNN center.
