THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: This breaking news we're following for you out of Montgomery County, Maryland, which is just outside of the nation's capital -- it is a suburb of Washington, D.C. -- where four people have been fatally shot this morning as early as 7:00 a.m. in different locations. And now, police, Montgomery County Police, are looking for a suspect they believe is in what is described as a white box-type vehicle, possibly an Isuzu.
Apparently, the shootings of four people took place this morning just after one other fatal shooting that took place in Montgomery County, Maryland, last night, in the Rockville, Maryland area. The details that we're getting from authorities right now is this morning they received a call at 7:41 a.m. that an adult male was shot while mowing his lawn on Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland. Less than an hour later, police received another call of an adult male killed at a Mobil gas station on Aspen Hill Road, and that too is only a few miles away from the Rockville Pike area.

Our other details are within 20 minutes, another death was reported outside a post office on International Drive. And two other deaths involved an adult female at Leisure World, which is a predominantly retirement community, just not too far from Rockville, Maryland, approximately another 2 or 3 miles.
