Osama bin Laden lashes out at the United States and United Nations in a videotape broadcast on Al-Jazeera. Bin Laden condemns U.S.-led airstrikes in Afghanistan and claims the United States is targeting civilians. Bin Laden does not deny that his al Qaeda organization was responsible for the September 11 attacks and says true Muslims celebrated those acts.
