At least 83 people are killed when three bombs explode in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Two of the early morning blasts are thought to be suicide car bombs and the third a planted bomb. In a statement posted on an Islamic Web site, an al Qaeda-linked group called the Abdullah Azzam Brigades claims responsibility. A second group also says it carried out the attacks. CNN could not authenticate either claim. |
