A moderate earthquake struck west of Willow, Alaska, on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The 5.8-magnitude quake was located some 64 miles (103 kilometers) west of Willow, and roughly 75 miles (121 kilometers) west-northwest of Anchorage, the USGS said. Its depth was estimated at 65 miles (105 kilometers).

“We definitely felt it here in Anchorage but we have no reports of damage or injuries at this point,” said Julie Harvey, with Anchorage Office of Emergency Management.
