Father’s Day gifts that aren’t cheesy or cliché are hard to come by. Luckily, gifts that are heartfelt, sentimental and perfect for dad do actually exist: Grafomap’s creations are all those things and more. Via the company’s website, you’re able to create a gorgeously designed, customizable map of anywhere in the world in just five minutes.
And now through the end of June, Grafomap is running a special Father’s Day offer: Use code SUPERDAD to receive 15% off a map of your own. Whether it’s for yourself or dad, your favorite memories are worth showcasing for years to come.
The creation of your map all takes place on Grafomap’s super simple and user-friendly editor page. First, type in the address of the location you want to feature. It can be as broad as a continent or as specific as a street corner — zoom in or out, and pan around to determine the exact area you want your map to cover.
Then, choose from nine map themes. Grafomap’s bestseller is the “minimal” theme, which features a classic font and uses only a black, white and gray color scheme. Other options include “modern,” a bold red and tan option, and “wheatpaste,” which will distinguish elements like parks, water and streets using different colors.
From there, decide on the size, orientation and finish of your print. There are two sizes to choose from — 18 inches by 24 inches and 24 inches by 36 inches — and each is available in six different finishes. The most basic option is the paper layout, which starts at just $49.
Finally, customize the label on your map. The default text is just the name of location you’ve chosen, but you have the option of changing it to something more personal. For instance, say something like “the best place on Earth” or “there’s no place like home” to call attention to the special moments that took place in that location.
Whether you want to pay homage to where your dad was born or the location of a favorite memory you made together, Grafomap understands that these places are meaningful and worth putting on display.
