Prior to Russia's invasion, Ukraine was the world's fourth largest exporter of maize. But with the country's ports at a standstill and a Russian blockade enforced, President Zelensky urges the international community to step in to prevent a global food crisis. "This is not just a strike at Ukraine," he says. "Without our agrarian exports, dozens of countries in various regions of the world have found themselves on the brink of a food deficit."
